Sun's "Chief Open Source Officer", Simon Phipps, just announced that Sun is retiring the Sun Industry Standard Source License. He's putting Sun's money where it's mouth is and actually getting rid of the license to help reduce the ridiculously rampant proliferation of "open source" software licenses. Fer shizzle!
