See his recent article on Business Week, Software Isn't Complete Unless It's Secure.Identity frauds and such, not to mention security threats on a large scale, are downright scary and devastating. Software being so ubiquitous and virtually indispensable, built-in protection for privacy is superimportant. A bow to Bill Joy for being a champion.
