Another type of Java

Given this is "java.net", I thought I could share this all with you.

Every now and then I come across something that just is so cool. Our big Krups espresso machine broke down and my wife made it clear that another one was not to occupy our limited kitchen counter space. But I do love my daily decaf latte, and the price just keeps going up and up at Peets and other local Berkeley coffee shops.

So, what to do, until I encountered this at the local Country Cheese Shop near Monterey Market here in Berkeley: the Aeropress.

It only takes up about 4 inches of counter space, and its faster and cleaner than a big honkin' espresso machine, and man does it make a nice espresso! I didn't believe it until I tried it, and it's better coffee than our old $300 Krups. I could even pack this thing when I travel! No more weak and expensive hotel coffee for me.
