Glassfish, Ruby on Rails and Derby

Thanks to a plug from Ludo I found out that Ashish and the JRuby folks have done some interesting work to show how you can run Ruby on Rails in Glassfish.

What I like is that in this environment, because JRuby is written in Java, it's very easy for you to use Derby as the database for your RoR application.

What will they think of next?!
