DB Communities are Getting into Derby

Computer World reports on the growth and history of Apache / Derby. (Sun Microsystems Inc. is now distributing Apache / Derby as Java DB with many of its products, including the JDK.)

David Van Couvering shares a bit of Nurullah Akkaya's e-mail on Derby-Users' list. Nurullah has been hosting large data volumes on Derby.
