The Java is a dance developed in France in the early part of the 20th century. In my personal iTune collection, I have a few French songs related to Java:

• La Java des bombes atomiques (Boris Vian)
• La Javanaise (Serge Gainsbourg)
• La Java Bleue (Vincent Scotto)
• La Java (Mistinguett)
