More Hudson plugins from the communityPosted by kohsuke on July 15, 2007 at 5:12 PM PDT
The last week saw three additions to the growing list of Hudson plugins. One is the clover plugin by Stephen Connolly. Stephen has been hacking the Hudson core code seriously as well. Nigel Daley has posted the plot plugin. This plugin provides a generic plotting capability, and can be used to keep track of anything — jar file size, # of bug fixes, anything. So it's handy if you'd like Hudson to generate a chart but you don't want to write your own plugin. Vara Kumar has posted a Visual SourceSafe plugin for those of you whose use VSS for the source code control. I used VSS in my previous life, and aside from several short-comings, VSS is a reasonable SCM system (and in MS-only shop you don't usually get a choice anyway.) As you can see, writing a Hudson plugin is not too difficult. If you are interested, follow the doc and let us know. I'm always happy to help. »
