Public Draft of JSR 286 In Review

Wesley Budziwojski's recent posting on The Portal Post carries the news that the public draft of JSR 286, Java Portlet Specification 2.0, is in review. He also highlighted some of the key features in that spec.

That's exciting news. Early this year, Wesley and I cowrote the article, Introducing Java Portlet Specifications: JSR 168 and JSR 286. Lots of steady progress have been made on JSR 286 since then, and the public review is set to complete soon—on August 27, 2007.
