Sun Java System Access Manager Now Supports 4TRESS One-Time Password Schemes
A new article on Sun Developer Network, Authenticate With Sun Java System Access Manager and ActivIdentity 4TRESS Authentication Server, describes how to adopt 4TRESS one-time password (OTP) authentication schemes in Access Manager and secure applications with many OTP schemes in an Access Manager-protected environment. Subsequently, bank customers, for example, can access their accounts online or by phone with the same OTPa simple, convenient, and seamless setup. The article delves into the related architecture, installation, configuration, and deployment, along with screen shots. Thanks are due Michelle Cope, a Sun engineer based in the U. K., who worked tirelessly with ActivIdentity on the module, now an OpenSSO extension; and to Sidharth Mishra, Access Manager technical marketing manager who championed and reviewed the article and the related code.
