Trumpets! As highlighted in today's Java Today, OpenDS, an open-source LDAP directory service written in the Java language, has released its version 1.0.0. Among the key capabilities are
- Standard and experimental LDAP extensions, hence maximum interoperability with LDAP clients
- Rich APIs
- Support of multimaster replication model
