JAX-WS RI 2.1.7/Metro 1.5 Released

JAX-WS RI team is pleased to announce the release of 2.1.7 version. It is also included in Metro 1.5. There was no 2.1.6(pretty much 2.1.5) java.net release as it was primarily created for JDK 6u14. As most of the effort has been going into JAX-WS RI 2.2, this is a minor release.

Some of the changes since 2.1.5 are:

• Support for transport atttribute for bindings like SOAP/JMS binding
• JAX-WS RI breaks JavaMail seriously regarding character set
• JAX-WS sends XOP messages to non-MTOM aware clients
• all bug fixes

Still need to push the bits to the JAX-WS Maven repository(waiting for JAXB 2.1.11 in the repo!). Will do it in next couple of days.
