My IoC Article
I got be honest, when I first received the e-mail from Howard and I read his blog entry, which you can read at: http://howardlewisship.com/blog/2005/02/hivemind-and-pico-compared-on-javanet.html
I wasn't too pleased to show the readers what he had to say. However, after I thought about it, I thought to myself, "why not?". Let the readers benefit from it. I of course couldn't cover everything in a single article, but I'd like to run HiveMind through the mill in another article and see how it carries itself perhaps in a real world application.
Now mind you, I'm pretty sure that it will do well. After all, Howard is OK by me (regardless of what he thought of my article) and I strongly believe that he knows what he's doing (look at what he's done with Tapestry if you need further proof). I also don't think that HiveMind has received the popularity that it deserves. I'd also like to see how HiveMind pairs up against Spring. In this current article, I just didn't have the space to cover everything and include Spring in there as well.
Perhaps, next time I write a HiveMind article, I'll pass it by Howard and recieve a thumbs up from him before I publish it. What do you think?
