Phobos in the Sun Web Developer PackPosted by robc on March 15, 2007 at 6:50 PM PDT
We just released the Sun Web Developer Pack and Phobos is one of its components, together with its client-side companion, jMaki, and a lot of other interesting stuff. Arun Gupta has all the details. I recommend checking out the RESTful web services API EA, as a preview of what you can expect from the newly approved JSR-311. We spent the last few weeks hunting down bugs in Phobos ahead of the pack release, which explains the silence on this blog. In the process, the version number of the NetBeans plugins has gone up to 0.5.6. Now we're back to adding new features, all while supporting our early users. You can find out more about the current status of Phobos by looking at my presentation from the Sun-internal and yet very public jMaki Day event. It's also conference season. I'll be presenting Phobos at the Web 2.0 Expo in April and then at JavaOne 2007 in May. Stay tuned! »
