Would you like to create fun, animated and interactive graphics for your Java ME application? Announcing the launch of phoneME UI Labs, your one stop resource for developing the next generation of advanced user interface for mobile devices. Use the power of SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) and JSR 226 (Scalable 2D Vector Graphics API) to create compelling graphics on the Java ME platform. The site contains cool and exciting demos, tutorials to get you started, and links to resources for more information. Find out more at http://meapplicationdevelopers.dev.java.net/phoneme_ui_labs.html and let us know what you think!

Also announcing the launch of my blog which will focus on Java ME graphics. I work on Java ME graphics at Sun Microsystems, and my current focus is on JSR 226 and JSR 287 implementations. This of course is my first posting, so expect more updates from me in the future. Keep checking back!

  • Hi Aastha! This is just great! I'm planning to develop an application for my final year project using JSR-179 and JSR-226, I have just started preparing and this is exactly what I was looking for. For sure I will be regular visitor here! Good luck with your blog and phoneme ui labs.
    Thanks, Kris.
