Screencast #25: Project SocialSite - Enabling Social Network in your Application

 Project SocialSite makes it easy to add social networking features to your existing web applications or community sites (running on Java, PHP or Ruby) and turn it into an OpenSocial container. It comes with a comprehensive and highly scalable implementation of social graph, integrates seamlessly with existing identity and authentication mechanism, make it easy to plug into existing directory server or other user management systems.

This screencast shows how to add social networking features such as Friends, Activities, Profile and an OpenSocial-compliant gadget to your application using NetBeans IDE.

I am using jmaki in my college project. I want to create a webpage
with 3 dojo.combobox(for example Country,State,City). When I will
select a country, list of states and list of cities will change
automatically. If I change a state then also list of cities should
change.
So I guess city combobox will subscribe to both.
The values in all the comboboxes are comming from database using
session bean or simple bean.
I am new to jmaki, so I don't know how to use publish and subscribe,
no good materials(or tutorials) are available on net. Some of them
are out-dated and having version-problem. Some of them are not
working. Some of them are using "script" tag that I don't want.
Can u please send me the code for the above requirement. I have
also seen the Carla's web page about dojo but the example of
combobox is too short there and she is using data.jsp that is not my
requirement. I have also seen the jennifer's blog and many other
websites but could not find the solution.
I am surprised to see that the method of doing ajaxing using jmaki is
different in different posts. Some one said - it's version-ing
problem in jmaki. You can mail me at master_4_master@yahoo.com
This is so important for me, you can see the importance of it, I have
created an account to write the comment.
If u can provide any tutorial for beginners will be helpful. Please send
code for my requirement.

Well, the good news is that after 72 hours of work-effort, I successfully got and implemented the solution.
