Here's a quick recap of some of the recent events regarding JXTA:

We have some more work to do re the Maven builds, namely how best to manage multiple sources within one project across all goals/reports, but this initial cut looks to bring alot to the table and is warmly welcomed. Things we will be looking into, and very much encourge "words of advice" from maven'ites, is:

  • multiple source dir, yup, said it again didn't I
  • jCoverge/jUnit registration
  • Clover
  • gen distributables including JNLP, Java Doc, binaries, source
  • publish JXTA artifacts to the Maven repository(s)

I should probably take another looksy at how geronimo manages the source dir issue.

MyJXTA :: use it - learn it - do it

Java == platform independence
XML == application independence
JXTA == network independence
