Open Source --- Then and NowPosted by hiheiss on July 18, 2007 at 03:34 PM | Comments (1)I'd be curious what you think of this java.sun.com interview I did with Ray Gans titled "Open Source -- Then and Now: A Conversation With Ray Gans of the OpenJDK Community Program". Ray's been about as close to Sun's open source process as anyone over the years and has a long history working with Java compatibility and now manages the OpenJDK and Mobile and Embedded community programs. I found his perspectives interesting with regard to the evolution of open source at Sun, the challenges currently faced, the surprises, and where it is all headed. What do you think?
