Desktop Matters Open for Registration

Posted by javaben on December 01, 2006 at 01:32 PM | Comments (4)

We've got the final dates locked in for Desktop Matters: March 8-9 in at the Wyndham in San Jose, California. The conference website is live, as is the registration link.

A big "Thank You" to all of you who offered to present at the show; we'll be finalizing the agenda in the coming weeks and getting in touch with you.

Desktop Matters is still technically a one-day show, but we're also putting on a "pre-show" event in the hotel where, among other things, you can bring your Swing questions and apps in person and discuss your ideas / problems / etc. with some of the speakers and Swing experts at the show.

We're also really struggling with a possible decision to go to two tracks; we've got a lot of content and one day isn't a very long time... anyone with opinions on the issue, please comment here.

Thanks!

  • Richard's last name is spelled incorrectly on one of the pages (Blair instead of Bair).

  • Good help is hard to find :-) thx for the pointer -- and why didn't you submit a talk proposal?

  • Ack. Make it a second day! I don't want to miss content. Seriously, I will have to pay air and hotel anyway, so one more day is fine.

  • allanc: Hmm... we could start the whole show one day earlier in the afternoon. Perhaps we'll do that.
