Communicating Conundrum

Kim Burchett posted a great story illustrating the Misunderstandings that happen in the software business. Hilarious, in a sad, scary, and all too true way.

  • It is funny and it perhaps does happen but not always. Occassionally something
    different happens too.

Picture this description from a customer: A rope hung high up on a tree, with my
head in the noose and a broom (or something similar) up my (developer/programmer's) behind.

The project leader (self-styled) interprets it as: A rope hung high up on a tree,
with my head in the noose but replaces the broom scenario with himself sitting
on a chair beneath the tree in the shade with a girl straddling him.
