The same place where you got 2.1. Project site --> Documents & Files --> Latest release --> Substance 3.1 library. The release notes contain detailed information on how to use the toned-down themes.

thanx kirill.
I have download the latest Substnce 3.1 and tested all the Toned Skins. It was good but not so appealing .
The Toned skins are similar to some of the existing look and feels but there is nothing new in them.>why can't you introdcuce a skin called Aqua Skin which gives the Mac-os kind of Look or Aqua or Glass kind of Look. The present trend in the for UI's is Aqua kind of Look or Transparent Glass kind of Look or Water Kind of Look.Look at the latest Windows Vista it has transparent glass kind of Look.So I suggest you to develope such kind of Skins rather than existing kind of Look and Feels.
Kirill as user of Substance it is only my suggestion.Hope you will put your hands on it in the next release of Substance Look and Feel.

Dhilshuk,
I'm confused - in one sentence you say to ditch the new toned skins because they are similar to existing stuff, and in the next one you propose creating skins that emulate Mac and Vista? First of all, these already exist as core LAFs in Tiger / Mustang, and second - where's the consistency in your request? And by the way, Aqua is already the default skin in Substance (which is close to Mac-os look). And by the way, the present trend is to move away from Aqua as can be seen in iTunes 7.

Kirill,
Iam sorry if you misunderstood it .
>Iam not discouraging the present tones.
>Iam supporter of Substance Look and Feel .
>Every updation in Substance makes me happy.
>with knowledge which I have in the UI Development i have suggested what I felt.
>I seek advises from experts like you.
I maybe correct or not but I found one thing in Substance 3.1
In substance 2.1 the JTextField by default is rectangular in shape but in substance 3.1 by default it roundrectangular in shape.
>Iam seeing white patches on the rounded edges if make the background of the Panel to which my textfield is added with some solid color.
>Test it setting the background of the panel with Black Color and adding JTextField.
