I'll be doing a free seminar entitled "AJAX Development with JavaServer Faces: Look Ma, No JavaScript!" on Monday, November 13th in London, England and Thursday, November 16th in Edinburgh, Scotland. (Note that the dates have changed.)
Here's the summary:
This seminar covers the tools and techniques for developing responsive, attractive AJAX-enabled applications using JavaServer Faces (JSF) technology without the use of manually-coded JavaScript.
This seminar will be hosted by Skills Matter, and you can read the details here.

Is that 3000 dollars for a four day course on AJAX???????

Nope. The seminar is free (it's only 1 1/2 hours or so), and the training course is about JSF, not AJAX (in particular). But you're correct about the price of the training course (once converted to US $).

Hi Kito,
I'm studying the diferents ways to integrate AJAX and JSF and I saw that you made a material "AJAX and JSF: Natural Synergy"...
Where I can find this material to take a look??
This will help me a lot!!!!
thanks a lot

Unfortunately, there isn't any material yet... This is a seminar that has since been postponed until November. I'll probably be writing more about this subject, though.

Hi Kito, thanks for the answer...I think that if you write a material you will help a lot of developers...
So, I'm writing a material to my college about the JSF and AJAX integration and I have some doubts...Can you help me?
I saw that basically there are two ways to integrate JSF and AJAX:
- Creating a Servlet or modifing the JSF lifecycle...
When you modify the lifecycle I read some developers that modificate the lifecycle:
1) Before the "Restaure View" phase;
2) After the "Restaure View" phase;
3) After the "Apply request values" phase;
4) After the "Invoke application" phase;
Do you know why these diferences?And what are the advantages to use AJAX in the phases that I said before?
Thanks a lot

You're actually better off using something like http://ajax4jsf.dev.java.net. If you want to chat further, e-mail me directly.
