Web sites on strike? Yes, it is now possible...

Posted by ludo on November 22, 2005 at 07:48 PM | Comments (1)

Bonjour,

Libération, one of the famous French newspapers is on strike (en grève) today. The novelty is that now even the on line internet edition is 'on strike'. I must admit this is the first time I hit a web site on strike. Any prior art?

After the famous LoginPage, ErrorPage, HomePage, BackPage concepts in the numerous Web Frameworks or patterns we have in J2EE land, we could now add the OnStrikePage concept, so that your web application could be turned in this mode easily.

  • That's what the French do. Go on strike and use company property against their employer.
