Transcript for Ask the Experts Session on OpenSSO

Posted by marinasum on October 6, 2008 at 12:27 PM PDT

Last week, java.sun.com held a week-long Ask the Experts session on OpenSSO. The transcript with all the Q&As is now available. Here are a few of the questions:

When will Web Agent 3.0 for Apache be released?

Will OpenSSO support Active Directory to integrate with Windows authentication?

Does OpenSSO support SecurID authentication?

Excellent resource!

I don't have the right's to login and see that transcript. What did they say about securid?

Hi Chris - our side of the SecurID authentication module source is in OpenSSO (see opensso/products/amserver/source/com/sun/identity/authentication/modules/securid). The binary is included with Enterprise and Express builds, but not nightlies. My understanding is that we're only allowed to distribute the RSA libs with 'releases'. If you have the libs from RSA, you can probably build it yourself.

OK - the Ask the Experts transcripts were inadvertently removed - they're back up now. Thanks for the heads up, Chris!
