A new article on Sun Developer Network, Federated Single Sign-On for Google Apps in OpenSSO, walks you through the process of implementing federation for applications, such as higher popular Google Apps, including Google Mail, Google Docs, and Google Calendar. Only a few configuration steps—with no custom code at all—are involved, thanks to the enhancements in Sun OpenSSO Enterprise 8.0, which was released earlier this week.
