In the last few weeks I've explained several times some of the details of how GlassFish is productized by Sun, so I decided to write up a description of the 3 main points:

• Need for a Sustaining Branch,
• Reconciling Sustaining and Main Branches, and
• Where and When to Productize / Harden the Code
