Leaving For Dublin

Posted by rbair on November 06, 2007 at 06:58 AM | Comments (1)

Luan O'Carroll was gracious enough to invite me to speak at the Irish Java Technology Conference this week in Dublin. For those who will be attending, I've got quite a bit of news from the desktop team which I think you'll be quite interested in hearing. I'm speaking Thursday morning ("Swinging RIAs" talk) and also Friday morning.

Friday morning I'll be giving Chet's and Romain's "Filthy Rich Clients" talk, which is always a barn burner. It's also, in my opinion, really important material that is both fun and interesting. If you are in the area, stop by!

And if you aren't in the area, I suggest getting a plane ticket and meeting up in Dublin :-)

  • I attended the IJTC and found both talks very informative. I especially enjoyed the Filthy Rich Clients talk. I of course already had the book, from hearing The Java Posse plug it. :)
