可以成为java.net博客的一成员,我感到很兴奋. 这是我第一次通过博客和大家交流, 我想还是先介绍一下
我自己吧.

我的中文名字是吴淑娜,很简单Shuna Wu就成了我的英文名.我现在是Java SE国际化测试组的Team Lead,
负责除英语以外的多个语言系统的测试,还有对java.text&java.util中一些Locale的测试. Java SE国
际化测试有它独特的挑战性. 我们除了要向其他软件测试工程师一样要领会贯通Java SE的功能要求, 写出
相应的测试程序外, 还需要了解Java SE国际化用户特定环境下的特殊的问题. 目前, 我们已经开发了全球
化的测试程序包, 并且尽量的使其自动化.

我的博客目标是
- 和你分享Java SE国际化测试的方法和经验
- 也会和你交流我们测试中遇到的挑战和难题, 和你探讨可能的解决方案
- 倾听你对Java SE的使用心得, 还有你对Java SE改进的要求
- 通过博客这个平台, 给使用中文的用户介绍Java SE新版本中有关国际化方面的

Greeting and Introduction

I am excited to be a member of the java.net blogging crew. This is my first posting
so I would like to introduce myself a little.
 
My name is Shuna Wu and I work at internationalization(I18N) area, JavaSE Quality
Engineering team as a team lead. We are responsible for testing many supported lang-
uages(writing systems), and more locales on java.text&java.util areas. Java SE I18N
testing faces its special challenges. We not only need to understand Java SE func-
tionalities like other software QA engineers, but also we need to have a great
expertise to be able to understand how the features work in variety of the user's 
native countries, regions, or cultures. So far, we have been developing our Global
Suite for testing the supported languages, and we have automated them
as much as possible.
 
My intention to blog is
- to share with you how we test Java SE I18N and our testing experiences accumulated
- to also communicate with you the challenges and some difficulties we met, discuss
  the possible solutions with you
- to listen to you about the feedback you have when you are using Java SE I18N and
  what is your propose on the improvements
- to introduce I18N new features in the new version of Java SE
  6(Mustang) through my blogging

I would like to invite you to work together on Java SE to enable it a highly reliable,
functional, perform well and high quality product. I hope to build up a bridge with
all Chinese users around the world and listen to you on the issues you meet and
feedback you have. I will be happy if I can help you address your issues.
