Among the many events at JavaOne this year (see the "Java ME Guide to JavaOne 2007") the "Meet & Greet/Un-BOF and Bloggers Social" on May 9 at Thirsty Bear restaurant is one I really look forward to.

This is the chance for the diverse Mobile & Embedded Community to get together, socialize, exchange ideas, give feedback, and just generally get to know each other. After all, that is what a community is all about, isn't it?

So I'd like to cordially invite you to join us. Here's what you need to do:

• Be prepared to share your thoughts and ideas on how we can grow and improve the community - we want your opinion!
• Reserve a space by entering yourself in the attendee list on our wiki so we can plan ahead
