You can't un-say a thing, but this hastily posted late-night blog seems to have stirred up way more controversy than I ever imagined - and if I'd considered it more ahead of time, I would have known better than to post it. No doubt someone has a historical copy that will be posted somewhere, although I would ask nicely that they not keep it out there. I would rather be known for my positive contributions than as a bomb thrower. To those that my blog offended, I apologize. I have my opinions, but there was no need to share them in such a negative way. I will keep this space more positive from now on. So, the scathing commentary is gone. Since you're here reading my blog, why not check out a way to write regression tests for memory leaks or try out a library for creating wizards in Swing?
