Java API for XML Web Services 2.0 Standard Implementation Early Access 2 was released yesterday.
Although JAX-WS 2.0 CVS repository is available
for over a month on,
this is a milestone build indicating a new chunk of functionality from EA.

In terms of new features, SOAP
and swaRef
support has been added. Several new samples (fromjava-soap12,
fromwsdl-soap12, mtom, and mtom-soap12)
have been added to demonstrate how these features can be used. A
new closer-to-real-life sample (supplychain) consisting of a value
type as a parameter and a similar return type is also added. I encourage you to
use these samples and provide feedback on the quality and quantity.

Other than that new
, dynamic
, re-designed deployment descriptor, and simplified
summarize the key points of EA2. All the samples from EA are updated
to use the latest tools and runtime.

An updated WS-I
Sample Application
using the latest JAX-WS 2.0 bits will soon be released,
stay tuned for that announcement.

In approximately 10 weeks, EA2 is a significant leap over EA.
