On to Wisconsin

After a fun week in San Francisco for JavaOne, there's a group of us, including fellow Java.net bloggers Jason Hunter, Glenn Vanderburg, and Mike Clark are heading on to the next Java conference on the schedule: The Wisconsin Java Software Symposium, part of the No Fluff Just Stuff conference series. It'll be interesting to make the shift from the big conference where there's lots of people that you caon't ever hope to have good conversations with to a smaller venue that allows deeper presentations and conversations.

The nicest shift will be the easy availability of wireless access in the conference. It was nice that there were pockets of internet access at JavaOne, but a conference of this scale which has made wireless technologies a focus should have working 802.11 access throughout the conference space.
