Java "a Plus" Working at MSDN
I've seen a number of articles/news-items/blog-posts about how .Net is advancing on Java and in some cases is supposed to be overtaking Java.
Well, just to poke and deflate the balloons of hot air, let me share with you something I saw today. A job posting for Site Manager for the Microsoft Developer Network! Check this out: "Efficiency in developing and implementing plans to accomplish goals is required. Additional qualifications include: familiarity with XML, HTML (Java a plus); ability and desire to work in a team development environment".
Hellooooo? I knew MS was full of beans when they tout how .Net is coming along, but I didn't think their tongue was in their cheek too.
