New features on the Wakaleo website

Posted by johnsmart on September 20, 2009 at 5:24 PM PDT

I just wanted to announce some new features that have just gone live on the website. In particular, there is now a brand-new blog section on the Wakaleo website: http://www.wakaleo.com/blog. All my blog entries will still be posted to Java.net. But I wanted to make it easier for people to access material that I'd written. I wanted people to be able to get a glimpse of many blog entries at a single glance, and be able to get an overall idea of the topics covered. So ll new blog entries will appear on the Wakaleo site first, and then on Java.net.

The site now contains a tag cloud, indexed with key words from all the technical articles and blog entries on the site (and only from them, so that you can go straight to the interesting stuff!)

I am progressively copying the technical blog entries from the Java.net blog and elsewhere onto this blog - I've done about a years worth so far, and should do the rest over the next week or so. It's an interesting exercise, and involves not a small bit of pruning and spring-cleaning, to retain only the most interesting and relevant technical entries.

Anyway, check it out and let me know what you think!
